Rosy Simas Danse Three Thirty One space – a two weeks residency on January 16 to 28, 2023 at Northrop King building in NE Mpls

Culminating with an informal showing with invited audience with streaming.

We have worked on our continuing collaboration on Butoh movement and Sound relationship. We have worked individually, having many conversations, a few jam sessions, but mostly not revealing what this will be, continuing the tradition of independent creative process.

Thank you to Rosy, Noelle, Atim and Sam. Also to Sarah for photo/video documentation; we have had a wonderful time being a resident at the space, and it was so valuable and precious time for both of us. I would like to think that this experience will feed us for our next incarnations of works we would create — may be outdoor busking at a plaza, or more experimental work in a theatre in 2024(?) I am starting to embrace the freedom that Butoh let me to be what I am and continuously manifest in every occasion.
