Brown Paper for McKnight Theater Artist Works in Progress

Brown Paper

Thank you for coming to witness this new creation with Molly Van Avery. I received so much encouragements and love, I was full by the end of the evening. I will keep working on it, and develop further.  I will keep you posted.  Till then.

P.S. This was the last piece I  worked with Mike Wangen, who illuminated with artist’s integrity. He created magic through what he had in that venue. He will be deeply missed.  — January 2020

Join mover, creator and performer masanari Kawahara and his collaborator, brown paper, as they learn about each other and push each other to their limits. This new work explores what we are capable of making, destroying, and repairing in a quest for empathy.
